Children and Youth

Children and Youth

At the baptism of each child, we renew a promise to nurture our children in the Christian faith so that they may begin their journeys centered in the life of the Spirit. Trinity offers a comprehensive program of worship, literature, music, drama and community outreach that pairs the creative gifts of our teachers with the creative interests of our children and youth.

Our approach to christian education emphasizes spiritual growth (for children of all ages) with a reverence for our earth, our fellow creatures, ourselves and all humankind. Students explore themes of justice, compassion, courage and love through biblical stories and other engaging faith experiences, to broaden their understanding of themselves and to help awaken their own spirituality. They are encouraged to share their many talents within the church and our community.

Sunday School

Each Sunday after the Family Time message the children (including guests and first time visitors) are invited to attend Trinity Kids Chapel (TKC) followed by Sunday School classes. Occasionaly the youth will be asked to stay in the Sanctuary to participate (or to lead) in family-oriented worship services centered on music, voice, drama, and multi-media. To find out about upcoming Sunday School activities, family worship services and other youth events, please visit our Announcements page or contact our Children's Ministry Coordinator, Erica Saunders.
